List of Scenarios for Alaska Aces 2017 PBA Commissioner's Cup

The information below contains the list of all the possible scenarios whether the Alaska Aces will advance or not to the next round, or if they do advance what advantages or disadvantages they are going to face. All Alaska needs to do is just to win their last game against Star to avoid the twice-to-beat disadvantage or even elimination (low percentage of happening). Please refer to the list below for more details.

List of Scenarios for Alaska Aces 2017 PBA Commissioner's Cup

SCENARIO #1
IF Alaska wins its last game, GlobalPort also wins, then ROS, Alaska, and GlobalPort will be tied at 5-6 win-loss records. Via PBA quotient Alaska is automatic catapulted to 6th place.

SCENARIO #2
IF Alaska wins its last game, and SMB beats GlobalPort, then ROS and Alaska will be tied at 5-6 win-loss records. Via win over the other Alaska will also be ranked 6th because they defeated ROS before.

SCENARIO #3
IF Star beats Alaska, and GlobalPort wins against SMB, and Mahindra wins against Ginebra. Then Alaska, Mahindra, and Phoenix will all have the win-loss records of 4-7. Via PBA quotient

Alaska vs Mahindra 98-92 (+6)
Alaska vs Phoenix 86-94 (-8)
= -2

Phoenix vs Alaska 94-86 (+8)
Phoenix vs Mahindra 121-122 (-1)
= +7

Mahindra vs Alaska 92-98 (-6)
Mahindra vs Phoenix 122-121 (+1)
= -5

Therefore Alaska and Phoenix will battle for the 8th place. Winner will face the #1 team.

SCENARIO #4
If Star beats Alaska, GlobalPort wins against SMB, and Ginebra beats Mahindra, then Alaska and Phoenix will be tied with the 4-7 win-loss records. They also battle for the 8th place.

SCENARIO #5
IF Star beats Alaska, SMB defeats GlobalPort, Mahindra wins against Ginebra, then Alaska, GlobalPort, Mahindra, and Phoenix will all have the win-loss records of 4-7.

If Star beats Alaska, SMB defeats GlobalPort, and Ginebra defeats Mahindra, then Alaska, GlobalPort, and Phoenix will all have the 4-7 win-loss records.
