List of Tournament format 2017-2018 PBA Philippine Cup
ELIMINATION ROUND- Teams play each other once (single round robin)
- 11 games per team
- Top 8 teams after elimination advance to the quarterfinals
- 9, 10, 11, and 12 seeded teams are all eliminated
- PBA quotient one game playoff to break tie at no.8 spot
- All other ties are break via PBA quotient system
QUARTERFINAL ROUND
1 vs 8 (1 is twice-to-beat)
2 vs 7 (2 is twice-to-beat)
3 vs 6 (best-of-3)
4 vs 5 (best-of-3)
SEMIFINAL ROUND (best-of-7)
1 vs 8 winner vs 4 vs 5 winner
2 vs 7 winner vs 3 vs 6 winner
FINAL ROUND (Best-of-7)
