Currently Magnolia has the win-loss record of 7-3, and their last game will be against Meralco tomorrow at Cagayan de Oro City.IF Magnolia wins the game against Meralco, and SMB lose to ROS then both will SMB and Magnolia are tied at 8-3 win-loss slate. Magnolia though will be ranked 2nd because they lose to SMB before.
IF both Magnolia and SMB win their last game, same ranking will be the result, wherein Magnolia will be ranked 2nd.
Regardless of whether Magnolia will win or lose its last game, Magnolia will be the ranked 2nd in the end of the elimination round. In case of a 4-way, 3-way, or 2-way tie at 7-4 win-loss which includes either Magnolia, Alaska, ROS, and NLEX. Magnolia will still be the superior in any of the tie that might happen. Therefore Magnolia will be seeded no.2
