1. Honda will be a sponsor in the 2nd conference of the PBA, so expect a Honda-PBA Commissioner's Cup as the main title of the Commish Cup.

2. The 12 teams are all allowed to get an import with the height limit of 6-10-foot inches.

3. The tournament format will be 11 games per team during the elimination. Top 8 teams will advance to the quarterfinals. In case of tie, a playoff game will be held only for the #8 seed. Top 1 and 2 will have the twice-to-beat advantage against top 7 and 8. Top 3, 4, 5, 6 will face each other in the best-of-3 series. The semifinal round will be a best-of-5 series, while the Finals will be a best-of-7.

4. Ginebra will have their new jersey with the label "Ginebra Ako".

5. Kia Picanto renamed their team as Columbian Dyip.

6. Christian Standhardinger is expected to make SMB more and more difficult team to beat.




7. Terrence Romeo is now a TNT Katropa.

8. Six (6) imports are balik-imports. They are Shane Edwards of Ginebra, Jarrid Famous of Blackwater, Malcolm White of GlobalPort, Vernon Macklin of Magnolia, Arinze Onuaku of Meralco, and James White of Phoenix.

8. The 2nd conference will start this coming April 22, 2018. The first game will be Blackwater vs Columbian Dyip at 4:30pm, and the 2nd game will be TNT vs GlobalPort at 6:45pm. The game will be held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
