The San Miguel Beermen once again claimed the Philippine Cup title after 14 years in the PBA after defeating the Alaska Aces 80-78. The Beermen got their 5th All-Filipino/Philippine Cup title and their 20th title for their franchise. June Mar Fajardo got the Best Player of the Conference award while Arwind Santos got the Finals MVP award. Coach Leo Austria also got his first ever championship in the PBA as a coach.
