Returning coach Chot Reyes replaced Tab Baldwin as the head coach of the Gilas 5.0. Jayson Castro of the Tropang TNT will also cancel his retirement in Gilas if his name is going to be included on the list of lineup.
Other expected picks are June Mar Fajardo of San Miguel Beermen, Japeth Aguilar of Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, Calvin Abueva of Alaska Aces, and Terrence Romeo of GlobalPort Batang Pier.
It is also expected that coach Chot will once again pick Andrey Blatche as our naturalized player if the team will going to tap one.
For those who do not know, this 24-man pool will be cut down to only 12-man and this 12 will going to be the official line up of the Gilas 5.0.
