The 25-man lineup is consists of 12 Gilas cadets plus 1 player each from the 12 teams from the PBA (though the Gilas cadets are also currently playing in the PBA).
The first assignment for the Gilas 5.0 will be this coming April 23-30, 2017 for the 2017 SEABA tournament. Our country will host the said competition. Seven countries will be participating including Indonesia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Philippines.
