List of Quarterfinal Scenarios for Star Hotshots 2017 PBA Commissioner's Cup

The information below contains the list of all the possible scenarios for the Star Hotshots team for their elimination round campaign in the 2017 PBA Commissioner's Cup. These scenarios will determine their important positioning in the quarterfinal round. Please refer to the list below for more details.

List of Quarterfinal Scenarios for Star Hotshots 2017 PBA Commissioner's Cup

SCENARIO #1
If Star wins its last game against Alaska they will have the win-loss record of 9-2. And if Ginebra and SMB will only win 1 out 2 of their last 2 games then Star will obtain the #1 position.

SCENARIO #2
If Star wins its last game, and also SMB and Ginebra wins their last two games. They will all have the win-loss record of 9-2. Therefore Star will be ranked 3rd via quotient system.

SCENARIO #3
If Alaska defeats Star, TNT wins against ROS, Meralco wins against Ginebra, Ginebra wins against Mahindra, and SMB only 1 of their last 2 games. Star, TNT, ROS, Meralco, and SMB will all have the 8-3 win-loss records. Therefore Star will be ranked 2nd.

SCENARIO #4
If Alaska defeats Star, and SMB and Ginebra will not win their last two games. TNT wins against ROS. Therefore, TNT, Star, and Meralco will all have the win-loss records of 8-3. Therefore Star will be ranked #1.
