According to FIBA the 3X3 basketball will also be an Olympic game in the future. And because of that our country is now making a program exclusively for 3X3 basketball.

It is amazing that an unknown team when it comes to the 5vs5 basketball is a powerhouse when it comes to the 3X3. And this team is the Mongolian team, they are ranked 1st in Asia.

Gilas Pilipinas 3X3 team faced this Mongolian team last June 2018, and all of us Filipinos knew that we can beat those guys fair and square, though the result got on their favor.

Now, seeing the world ranking below when it comes to 3X3 basketball, we are way below the table compared to the Mongolians who are ranked 5th. But we beat the Brazilians who are ranked 7th, and the Russians who are ranked 3rd. Gilas finished their FIBA 3X3 World Cup 2018 campaign with the 2-2 win-loss record.
