Here is the list of the last 10 rookies who received the Rookie of the Year (ROY) award in the PBA. Some of them are already inactive while most of the players who are now veterans are still currently playing in the league.

The current PBA rookie is Jason Perkins of the Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters. The top rookies namely Christian Standhardinger of the San Miguel Beermen and Kiefer Ravena of NLEX Road Warriors were both ineligible to receive the award because Standhardinger didn't play for the Beermen during the entire Philippine Cup, while Ravena was banned by FIBA due to prohibited substances (contained in an energy drink) he took during the Gilas and Australia game that was held in Australia. And for Reymar Jose, he eligible but he spent most of his rookie time sitting on the bench.
