Here is the official ranking of the Top 50 basketball countries in the world courtesy of FIBA as of the end of the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers. 3 countries are coming from Africa, 11 coming from Americas, 8 from Asia, and 28 from Europe.

Out of these 50 countries, 30 only made it to the 2019 FIBA World Cup that will begin this coming August 31 to September 15, 2019 in China. It only means that when it comes to basketball, rankings can be broken, powerhouse teams can be upset and even those teams that you do not expect to make it through the World Cup really made it.
