I am Black American. Growing up, I identified with the Congolese school children in my Mom's coffee table pictorial book of Africa. My skin shade is lighter but facial features are very Bantu Once I went to a jazz club and there was a group of visiting diplomatic core from your region. After expressing my enthusiasm about finally meeting Africans whom i felt a kinship... A woman blurted out: You're not from Africa! She then pointed to their Black American host and said: She is African! Although their host was American, I guess the point was that this chocolate colored, voluptuously woman with long coiled hair appeared more "African" than her skinny, auburn haired sister. Yep, it gave me great pleasure to announce to the group that "your host is my sister". The problem with Colorism is that it is the step child of Eugenics. SHAME ON YOU FOR PROMOTING The "10 Most Beautiful Congolese Actresses". IT'S AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE THAT YOUR NATION ELEVATES THE EUROPEAN BEAUTY STANDARD. WHAT DOES THIS SAY ABOUT THE BEAUTY AND UNIQUE APPEARANCE OF YOUR DAUGHTERS NATURAL FEATURES?
