The 16 participating teams were divided into 4 groups. During the first round, each team from each group will face the team within their group once (all teams will be having 3 games during the first round).
The top 3 teams from each group will make it to the next round the bottom 4 teams will be eliminated. The 4 teams seeded #1 during the end of round 1 will automatically make it to the quarterfinal round. The rest of the format and game schedules will be seen below.
