Even though they only won 2 games in the 2018 FIBA U17 World Cup Argentina, our Batang Gilas Pilipinas ended their World Cup stint with 2 consecutive wins. First was against Egypt, and 2nd against New Zealand.

Again, Kai Sotto led our Batang Gilas against their win over New Zealand, 73 to 51. He scored 22 points, and grabbed 10 rebounds. He also defended the paint well with his 4 blocks.

Because of the win Batang Gilas ended their 2018 FIBA U17 World Cup stint ranked number 13 out of the 16 countries that participated.
