How to install IDM Chrome extension 2023

1. To start, we need to download IDM's latest version. Go to internetdownloadmanager.com to proceed.

2. Inside, find and click the DOWNLOAD link.

3. In the download page, click the "DOWNLOAD INTERNET DOWNLOAD MANAGER" button.

4. Wait for the download to finish. When done, open the exe file.

5. In the IDM installation wizard, just press NEXT.

6. Press NEXT again and agree with the terms to proceed.

7. Just press NEXT again in the next page.

8. Now, press NEXT to start the installation.

9. After installation is complete, click Finish.

10. Open your Google Chrome. If you see an ERROR near 3 dots, just ignore it. Click the 3 dots to proceed.

11. In the menu that will appear, click More tools.

12. Then, click Extensions to continue.

13. Inside Extensions page, find IDM Integration Module. As of now it is disabled.

14. Enable the extension.

15. The IDM logo is not grey color if it is working. You can pin it in your extension to easily see and access it.

16. Now, to test a successful integration, download a file in your Chrome browser. You will notice that every time you press the Download button, IDM automatically capture the download. Doing so, will enable you to download your file much faster.
