If you just recently downloaded and installed your Metrobank Online Mobile app and your phone displays the following error or Device Security Alert:

For your safety and security, the Metrobank Mobile App cannot be used on this device.

FIX: Your device is either rooted or jailbroken Metrobank Mobile App


After calling the Customer Support of Metrobank, they only said that I just need to disable the Developer Options of my mobile phone. And to do this, follow the steps below. 

👉 To be able to disable Developer Options, go to Settings.

👉 Inside Settings, press System.

👉 Inside System, press Developer Options.

👉 And inside Developer Options, switch ON to OFF.

👉 When done, the Developer Options, should OFF and colored gray.

👉 Restart your phone.

👉 After restarting your phone, try opening the Metrobank Mobile App again, and the error is now gone. You can now access your account.

👉 Done!
